That cultural practice is outdated and cruel. This practice has NOTHING to do with Buddhist Ahimsa non-violence doctrine and should be stopped. The Japanese Buddhist people should be concerned also.

@baron706 That is so not true you! the Faroe Islands kills at least 20-50 whales a year, and there are MILLIONS! + they don't actually make them suffer, as that fat idiot tells you! And what you might not know, is that the number of whales that are killed is decreasing, because of the massive amount of Pb they are containing (Because of world pollution), making them very uneatable. (Meaning, you can only eat it ones a month, wich makes it pretty pointless to kill multiple and let it rotten)

@baron706 Are you from the Faroe Islands? have you ever talked to an average person from the Faroe Islands? I can imagine that you havent'.... Seasheperd, is mostly propaganda, because the Faroese people aren't that violent... There is actually a law in the Faroe Islands, that say that you can go to jail, if you don't kill the Whale, within max 2 strikes. So before you start judging people here and there, please do some REAL research, and don't just read what the fat idiot tells you!

This has nothing to do with being racist or anything! But I think that people who kill such loving creatures, is heartless, evil, and inhumane. Fuck anyone who disagrees with me.

@veekay369 They don't eat Dolphins, the mercury in there systems to eat and they have about a million other food sources so they don't need to kill dolphins thank you very much.

Oh my God. People are so fucking brutal, it pisses me off. For the people saying this is their food, why isn't it the same as killing cows. Its NOT the same because dolphins have a high percentage of mercury in them. It harms the people longterm. Plus dolphins are really smart and friendly and have saved our sorry asses in the ocean. Why would you wanna kill them? But whatevs, all of you keep living in your sad little words of closemindedness and self righteousness. XP you'll all get yours..
