@freedomland11 i see 4 possible truths. (1) there is a creator and we do have souls (2) there is a creator but we don't have souls (3) there is no creator but we have somehow evolved into beings that have souls (4) there is no creator and we don't have souls... now, i see all 4 as possibilities, but my bet would go with number 2

@dyingromeo....A creator, What if I said to you "my creator is Zeus" you would think I'm mad, because you were not brought in greek mythology but in a state of mind, that if science doesn't have an answer "there has to be someone" Human Beings, for me...placed a higher power to explain the origin of earth, and not to be isolated, be "if there's nothing after you die, then whats the point of life"....what if life has no point?!! what if we are here because of luck?!! ever think of that

@freedomland11 the main point i want to make is that you can be against every religion on earth, and still believe in the existence of god, for me, it just makes more sense logically for a creator to exist than not.

@freedomland11 and what balances out evil you ask? Quite simply, empathy, compassion, love, all that good stuff. Without free will, there would be neither evil, nor love. We would be like any other animal. It would be pointless.

@freedomland11 a lot of atheists say that god can't exist for all the suffering and cruelty that takes place. But think of why these things takes place. Physical pain is necessary, it's a defence mechanism as i'm sure you're well aware. As for the evil deeds of man upon fellow man. That is the price of free will. Would you rather not have your own mind? With free will comes the consequence of evil. Look around, there are extremes in both directions that balance everything out.

@freedomland11 the only way i can even imagine the origin of the universe to happening without a creator is if there is no origin, and instead, time has no beginning and is somehow way more complex than simply moving forwards all the time as we now believe
