@glorplaxyI don't think it's a bodhran. A frame drum - more Mid-Eastern than Irish although Remo might of made it into a hybrid of the two drums.

Can anyone help me, I have a frame drum that has started to cup/warp, what could I do to straighten it again?

Does anybody know how he produces this overtone-flute like sound in the beginning? I've tried simply immitating what I see but it doesent work... Oh, and thanks for uploading this great video!
