The music is of the band "Popol Vuh", and is called "Aguirre" or "Aguirre II".

It isnt Tangerine Dream , its Popol Vuh who made the Soundtrack for Aguirre Wrath of God ...

its what i feel too... this movie has a strange german cold touch...is it Herzog or Kinski?...or z Tangerine Dream music? A lot of people in this movie plays with their heart...sometimes without a lot of words. Since the first minutes & more and more along the movie...it smell a tragedy...the priest with his illuminated big eyes...the woman who abandon herself to the jungle...etc...rarely a movie moved me so much inside me... Its a deviant illustration of z madness of the occidental civilisation
